Artemis is pleased to welcome Marc Nessim as Director in the US. Marc joins Artemis from Microsoft Enterprise Services, where he led M&A origination initiatives across high growth areas of innovation such as data, AI, and cybersecurity. He previously spent 13 years at Accenture, including over a decade in corporate development, new ventures and growth & strategy teams, originating and executing over $1B of transactions across the U.S. and Europe.
Marc’s appointment marks another step in Artemis’ growth. After spinning out in 2022 from a sector-focused M&A boutique, Artemis has transformed into a leading independent specialist buyside origination house, with a global clientele of private equity funds, portfolio companies and corporate acquirers. Since then, the firm has doubled down on deal-focused origination talent and systems while increasing geographic and sector coverage through new engagement leads and a proliferation of target relationships, underpinned by cutting edge data and technology.
“I’m excited to join Artemis as the firm redoubles its focus on US acquirers and targets while expanding into new corners of the knowledge economy at such a thrilling time for AI-led transformation across industries,” said Nessim.
“Marc is a seasoned and accomplished M&A originator,” said Artemis CEO, Paul Dondos.“We couldn’t be more excited to put his experience, network, and sector and M&A expertise to work for clients looking to grow and differentiate their portfolios through smart M&A as we continue to build our US practice.”
Marc holds an MBA from Bayes Business School in London, an MA in Financial Economics from Kent State University in the US and a BSc in Economics from Cairo University. He speaks English, French and Arabic.
